Yesterday, my employer had an online meeting using Adobe Connect. I've used this before and it also worked with Windows 7 Pro. I used Edge for my email to find the link. When I click on it, all of a sudden I heard someone talking. Somehow, it activated Narrator. I finally turned that off then realized I could not type in the chat box.
As soon as I hit one key, the screen locked. I wanted to try Firefox, but I can't seem to use it running Windows Same problem with Chrome. As the issue not occurs with Internet Explorer and Edge but also with Google Chrome, I suggest you to get in touch with the Adobe connect support to get further assistance.

Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. I've been using both Windows 10 and Adobe Connect - both in Edge and Firefox and have had no problems. Even though I had initially tested Edge but I found enough websites that I use regularly that don't work properly that I've made my default browser Firefox and all works well.
Despite Adobe's claims to the contrary, my experience has taught me that due to incompatibility issues with the Connect plugin, I do NOT use Chrome. Firefox is always the most solid for Adobe Connect, so that's what I use. Regarding Firefox, I suggest uninstalling it and then install it using admin privs to see if that helps.
